SIEM REAP, Kingdom of Cambodia – The 2025 ASEAN IPA Annual General Meeting and Conference was held at Sokha Siem Reap Resort & Convention Center last February 14-15, 2025. HBVAR sent its representatives, namely Rozmic El-jechi, Jay-R Casono, Grace Corpuz, Atty. Camille C. Crisostomo to partake in this significant exchange of information amongst leading IP practitioners from various countries.

This year’s theme was “ENFORCEMENT OF IP IN THE DIGITAL ERA – CHALLENGES AND EMERGING TRENDS”. The discussions and presentations aim to contribute to the development of an IP system that can adapt to the fast pace of technological advancement to be facilitated by experienced experts and professionals from diverse jurisdictions with their valuable insights on emerging challenges and trends in IP enforcement in the digitalized world, said Pham Nghiem Xuan Bac, ASEAN IPA President.

The conference covered topics like: Cross-Border IP Issues on Enforcement in the Digital Space; E-Commerce and IP Enforcement Strategies; Cybersecurity and IP Protection; and Mediation and Arbitration for IP.
